There is no prerequisite for private sessions.

Duets – One on Two
Duet sessions are intended for those students who want to begin their Pilates training with a friend or family member. In a duet session a customized program of exercises will be created taking into consideration both students’ level of fitness and their specific needs in regards to strength conditioning and flexibility. There is no prerequisite for duet sessions.

Semi-Privates – One on up to Three

GROUP CLASSES

Pilates Level I
Beginning Pilates Mat classes involve a deliberate and dynamic set of floor exercises intended to increase strength, flexibility and stamina. Focus is placed on core strength and stabilization resulting in a more uniformly developed body with strong abdominal and back muscles. Overtime, improvements will be seen in alignment, balance, coordination and muscle tone. This class is perfect for students new to Pilates, or students who appreciate a return to the basics.

Pilates Level II
If you have some previous experience with pilates, this class will provide a fun challenge by creating more flow between movements, as well as developing the basic exercises through the use of props and variations that increase strength, stamina, and coordination.

Yamuna Body Rolling
Yamuna Body Rolling is health, fitness and massage rolled into one! It utilizes specially designed balls in precise routines that allow you to "roll out" your own muscles, effectively providing a self-massage while creating more length and tone in the muscles. Working with the balls also develop core strength, balance, and body awareness, as well as can help free the body of restrictions and improve posture and healthy alignment. And best of all: it feels great! You will also have the chance to learn simple routines to perform in the office or while traveling.
Yamuna Body Rolling is also available in Private Sessions; please call to schedule.

Vinyasa Flow Level I
Vinyasa Flow Level I classes emphasize a sequence of flowing, foundational postures, linked together by the breath in an effort to strengthen, lengthen, and detoxify the body. Adaptations and modifications of postures will be explored in an effort to encourage each student to control the intensity of his or her own practice. Each class will begin with pranayama breathing exercises and conclude with mediatation. Recommended for beginning level students and enjoyable for all levels.

Vinyasa Flow Level II
Vinyasa Flow Level II classes often begin with a variation of sun salutations, warming the body for a dynamic, multi-directional practice in the Vinyasa Flow style. This class emphasizes alignment, and is fun for students who are ready to go deeper into their practice and explore arm balances, backbends, and inversions. Be prepared to sweat. Recommended for students with six plus months of consistent practice.
